Thousand-year-old people and traditions
Kirghistan, formerly Kirghizie, crossing point of the caravans on the Road of Silk, shelters a nomadic and pastoral people, living in yurts, moving their herds on horseback through hundreds of kilometers of steppes and mountains.
We will help reinforce the continuing ties woven between our two countries, encouraging and aiding the many french-kirghizes who have recently formed.
Here you will find information about the history of Kirghistan, the geography and culture, as well as details about traveling to Kirghistan or settling in France. You will also enjoy breathtaking photographs of this superb and unspoiled country.
